.COM.CY is a second-level extension of Cyprus.
Mainly dedicated to companies and commercial activities, the extension is open to everyone.
The .CY extension is open to everyone. However, the registry will review the application on a case-by-case basis and may request additional documents before approving or refusing it.
Reselling .cy domain names is forbidden.
In order to register a .COM.CY domain name, the owner must provide the ID Number, and date of birth (for individual) or the company number (for organization).
The registration delay can vary according to paperwork processing.
The registry may request documentation during the registration process.
.COM.CY domain names are allocated on a "first come, first served" basis.
In order to transfer your domain name to Netim, you must ask your current Registrar to change domain contacts to NETIM. This information will be provided during the processing of the request.
Alternatively, you can perform this task if you manage the domain by yourself directly at the registry.
The domain expiration date is not affected by the transfer process.
It is currently not possible to change the holder of your domain name.
