# Procedures

# Registration

In order to complete the registration, the administrative contact must sign an application form by one of the following methods:

  • By electronic signature for holders of an ID card from Estonia, Belgium, Lithuania or Finland.
    The signed file in format ddoc must be sent back to us.
  • By handwritting for anybody
    The signed file in format pdf must be sent back to us.

If you don't want to proceed with this procedure or doesn't want to be defined as administrative contact, our local contact service is available.

 

# Transfer

In order to transfer your domain name to Netim, you must disable transfer protections and obtain the authorisation code from your current Registrar.

The transfer may take several days.

The domain expiration date is not affected by the transfer process.

# Trade

The .EE requires the signature, by the holder, of an update request form. This document will be sent to you by email once your order has been validated.

The change may take several days due to manual processing.

The domain expiration date is not affected by the trade process.

# Informations

.EE domains have different required values depending on the registrant's legal form:
  • Legal entity (whatever country): provide the registration number
  • Individual (whatever country): provide an ID number such as ID card or passport number

# Additional fields

Some additional information may be requested in order to register a domain. In general, this information is collected by the registries in order to identify the owner, verify that he complies with the registration rules, etc. Here are the additional fields needed for this extension.

When using our APIs, additional information must be provided in the corresponding fields of the object StructContact for the domain name holder.

# Trustee and local contact service

When using our APIs, you can use the local contact service by providing the contact ID NETIM4EE as idAdmin value.
