.su CCTLD
This extension is the official top-level domain of the Soviet Union.
Even though the USSR (Soviet Union) dissolved in December 1991 and the extension had to be abandoned, as was the case for others such as .dd (East Germany) and .yu (Yugoslavia), .SU is still online after 25 years and counts more than 100,000 active domain names.
The .SU extension is open to everyone. However, the registry will review the application on a case-by-case basis and may request additional documents before approving or refusing it (passport, id card, certificate of incorporation...).
There is no specific procedure related to the registration of a domain name.
.SU domain names are allocated on a "first come, first served" basis.
In order to transfer your domain name to Netim, you must ask your current Registrar to change domain contacts to NETIM. This information will be provided during the processing of the request.
Alternatively, you can perform this task if you manage the domain by yourself directly at the registry.
The domain expiration date is not affected by the transfer process.
In order to obtain the procedure for changing the holder of your domain name, do not hesitate to contact us.
