Why request a certificate reissue?

Re-generating your certificate can have serious consequences and in order to prevent the misuse of this feature, we kindly ask you to make your request to our support department.

The following cases require a re-generation of your certificate:

  • You have lost your private key
  • You have a multi-domain certificate and wish to update the list of additional domains

This re-generation will result in the same checks as those performed when your certificate was created.

Requesting a certificate SSL reissue

To request a certificate reissue, you must open a ticket with our support department. Here is how to proceed to request a reissue of your certificate:

  1. Log in to your Netim Direct account
  2. Click on the “Support tickets” on the menu 
  3. Click on the “Create a new ticket” button, check the “Support department” box and select “SSL certificates”
  4. Choose the certificate concerned and indicate in the subject and the message your wish to reissue a certificate
  5. Finally, click on the “Confirm” button
