How do I import my email account into Gmail?

Follow this step-by-step tutorial to learn how you can import an email account into Gmail.

You can find all the information needed to complete this process in the email you received after subscribing to your hosting plan and on the “How do I set up my email client?” page.

Click on “See all settings”

Go to the “Accounts and Import” tab

Click on “Add an email account”

Enter your email address in the pop-up window

Click on “Next”

Enter the incoming server information to be able to read emails sent to your other account via Gmail

Important ⚠️

Gmail only offers POP protocol to manage the reception of emails. This protocol doesn’t store a copy of emails once they have been downloaded to a device.
In other words, if you read your email on several email clients or devises, we recommend your tick the “Leave a copy of retrieved message on the server” box.

Answer the question and click on “Next”

Enter the outgoing SMTP server information to be able to send emails from your email account via Gmail.

Enter the verification code you received by email or click or the verification link contained in said email.

You can now read and send emails from your custom email address via Gmail!

Important ⚠️

If the information you provided is edited at some point, you’ll need to update it. Otherwise, you won’t be able to read and send your emails via Gmail anymore.
