An email address migration is the copying of emails and folders from the source IMAP account to a destination IMAP account using the imapsync feature.

Once the copy is complete, all the emails and folders on your original email address will also be present on the destination email address.

Migration of my email address

The migration of an email address is reserved exclusively for our customers, i.e. all those who have a hosting account with Netim.

To initiate your migration request, you need to use our email address migration tool. Here’s how to proceed:

  1. Go to our dedicated page “Email address migration tool“
  2. Fill in the fields in the “Source” and “Destination” sections
  3. Next, enter an email address to which you would like to receive the end-of-migration report
  4. Click on “Start migration”
