Auto-renewal

At Netim, services are not automatically renewed by default. You will receive reminder emails at key intervals (30 days, 15 days, 7 days before the expiry date, and on the due date) to inform you of the deadlines and steps to renew your services, after which you will need to complete the renewal yourself. This approach requires regular monitoring of your services.

To simplify this process, Netim offers an automatic renewal service. By activating this feature, you ensure that your services are automatically renewed at each expiry date without any action on your part, guaranteeing uninterrupted service!

Note 💡

Automatic renewal is triggered 7 days before the service’s expiration date.
You will receive a reminder 30 days before expiration, allowing you to disable the automatic renewal option for individual services if desired.
The automatic renewal will use your payment methods in the priority order you have defined (see our tutorial “Add/Remove a Payment Method”).
If the automatic renewal process fails, the operation will be retried daily until the expiration date.
Whether the automatic renewal succeeds or fails, you will be notified by email.

Enable Global Auto-Renewal

You can choose to enable automatic renewal for all your services or for a specific type of service: domain names, hosting, SSL certificates or brand protection.

Here’s how to proceed:

Log in to your Netim Direct account
Click on your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
Click on « Preferences »
In the “Auto-Renewal” window, check the box(es) according to what you wish to activate or deactivate

Enable Auto-Renewal Per Service

You can choose to enable automatic renewal for a specific service if you do not want to activate it for all your services.

Here’s how to do this using a domain name as an example:

Log in to your Netim Direct account
Click on “My Domains” in the “Domain Names” section of the left-hand menu
Click on the name of the domain you wish to modify
In the “Summary” window, click the checkbox next to “Auto-renewal” to enable or disable the service

Enable Batch Auto-Renewal

f you do not wish to enable automatic renewal for all of your services, or if you prefer not to activate it individually for each service, you have the option to select multiple specific services and enable their automatic renewal all at once.

Here’s how to proceed:

Log in to your Netim Direct account
Click on the “Renewals” tab in the left-hand menu.
Using the checkboxes, select the services for which you want to enable auto-renewal (domain names, hosting, SSL certificates or brand protection). If you have a large number of services to activate, you can also import a list of services to select using the “Select from a list” button
At the bottom of the page, in the drop-down menu, select the action “Change Renewal Method”, choose “Automatic”, and then click on the “OK” button
